Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco and moved to California as a child. She grew up primarily living in Orange County. In 2015, she earned her degree from University of California San Diego and got her first break as an actor. Pernas she had appeared in brief appearances on NCIS as well as Leverage prior to landing the role as Marisa on The Young and the Restless and was an established face on the soap opera. Following her departure from the soap she was offered a character role of Catalina in Jane the Virgin. The model who is fluent in four languages has since appeared on The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. The actress played Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure between 2019 and 2020. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas was dating Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The romance started after Chrishell Stause and the This Is Us actress split in November of this year. Then, in May 2021 news came out that Pernas Hartley had just got married in private.
