Mischa barton was born on January 24, 1986, in the city of Hammersmith, England. In the TV show The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. In addition, she was as a character in The Sixth Sense a movie of suspense. The suspense film called The Sixth Sensation. It was one of the most watched TV series. The O.C. was a big hit TV series that she starred in. Benjamin McKenzie played her love-interest. Ben McKenzie who played her lover. Her first TV appearance was in 1994, when she played a young Corvina Lang in flashbacks on the soap opera All My Children. In 1996 she returned to the soap opera as a replacement for Michelle Trachtenberg in the role as Lily Benton Montgomery. Katie Singer guest-starred as Jessie Sammler, Evan Rachel Wood's partner in the eight episodes of Once and Again. In 2001, Barton returned to acting and played in an independently-produced Canadian film called Lost and Delirious. It was based on her Susan Swan novel The Wives of Bath. The Romanians welcomed her back home with a sense of pride. Comaneci was awarded two additional gold medals in the 1980 Olympics, and she also took home two more silvers. Her total Olympic medals now stand at nine. Comaneci received her honors in the year 1996, when she was elected to the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame. In 1999, ABC News and Ladies Home Journal declared Comaneci as one of the top 100 women in the 20th Century. Comaneci, known as an American Olympic Champion Bart Conner was married to her in April 1996. They had a kid named Dylan Paul. They own a number of gymnastics related businesses, including Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci works with a range of charitable organizations, such as Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association (SIMD) as well as Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. Additionally she has continued to support dozens of charities in her native country of Romania including those at the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital in Bucharest.
