Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow is a German woman born to Christian parents. Her siblings include three. Her parents divorced when she turned 17. Their business was bankrupt, adding to her financial woes. Anorexia, bulimia and other mental disorders contributed to the problems. Gossow's explanation of her decision to not continue as the lead singer for the band ARCH ENEMY was straightforward: There is a right and wrong moment for every thing. All of this began in the year 1991. I realized that it was not fun living a life of nomadism. Instead of feigning it I quit, I decided to stop. Johan Liiva was the original frontman of the group Johan Liiva was replaced in 2000 by German singer Angela Gossow. In 1986, the Australian vocalist John Farnham recorded the song "You're The Voice".
