Niykee has experienced a whirlwind few years including being chosen by Snoop to perform with him at the YouTube Brandcast May 2013 Niykee maintains a consistent songwriting schedule despite this. Niykee is an enduring magnet for new producers starting out. Many of the beats she hears from producers spark songs. In just 5 minutes when I'm able to determine if a particular beat is worthy of my time. After that I am able to see the concept of a complete song in my brain and I start writing. I sit on my backyard with my guitar and the words appear and it's usually completed in less than 30 minutes. As she continues develop her skills as a lyricist, Niykee explains that the pain of her experiences in the past is a constant source of inspiration. My experience of pain as a child in my youth as well as that of losing my sibling is present in my lyrics even when they are not literal. The music I write is inspired by my experiences and I can sense the deep meaning behind everything. This is one of the aspects that are most crucial for me.
